physical and virtual servers and replicates your data and system state
over a site to site VPN to an Continū cloud based repository. Once the
initial full backup is received only the compressed, de-duplicated
changes are replicated to the repository, minimizing the compute,
network and storage resources required to protect the environment. By
extending the LAN environment via VPN, a single server or a collection
of servers can be restored in Continū 's Virtual DataCenter environment with a
few clicks providing unprecedented agility during planned or unplanned
downtime.

Offsite copies of your local mission-critical machines are created as standby virtual machines in the Continū Virtual DataCenter using Acronis' user-friendly interface. Your administrator uses an Acronis central management console to back up and recover on virtual machines in the cloud.
