Cybersecurity Professional

We are looking for a remarkable Information Security & Compliance Team member to join our extraordinary security team.

Responsibilities
On a typical day you might...

  • Act as the business owner for security functionality within the Data & Insights platform, working closely with the product team to prioritize security alongside other new features and improvements
  • Work with and evaluate third parties to ensure their security programs conform to our requirements
  • Participate in conference calls with the sales team to answer security-related questions from customers
  • Oversee the repository of security controls, policies, and procedures and update this repository over time to reflect improvements and changes
  • Evaluate requested security changes from existing and prospective customers and help estimate the impact of the changes on the company – including efficiency gains, new market opportunities, material costs, time/opportunity costs, and support costs

Qualifications
You have...

  • 5 or more years of experience in the Information Security realm, including work in Compliance, Audit, Analysis and Engineering
  • Currently maintain an industry recognized security certification as an Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Strong entrepreneurial instincts and ability to think beyond the role of compliance and focus on providing value in security
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with executives, software engineers, product managers, client services representatives, and directly with our customers
  • Passion for continuous learning and innovation
  • Ability to handle a number of simultaneous tasks while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive projects to completion
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, security, or similar curriculum or equivalent work experience
  • Desire and aptitude to be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

End-User Support Technician

SecurCore, an up-and-coming leader in the Cybersecurity space, is hiring a Senior End User Support Technician to play a critical role within our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain additional experiences while supporting our diverse customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls for technical support through telephones, e-mail or in person
  • Install and maintain a variety of hardware and software
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems
  • Identify priority issues and ensure they are handled first
  • Ensure new technologies and processes are adapted to current systems effectively
  • Assist in organizing, tagging and cataloging digital assets
  • Support end-users who are on cloud-based environments
  • Follow all company standards, policies and procedures as currently documented
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on customer systems
  • Document troubleshooting steps performed on each support ticket worked
  • Maintain a high level of customer service even while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate in a clear, effective, timely and respectful manner with customers and coworkers

Qualifications
You have...

  • 3+ years of IT Helpdesk experience
  • Professional work ethic
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 7-10, including user profiles
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac OS
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2016
  • Good understanding of core services provided by Windows Server, including Group Policy, File Sharing, DHCP, DNS, AD Users and Computers
  • Experience managing Office 365 and Exchange
  • Knowledge with Virtual environments
  • Expert troubleshooting capabilities
  • Printer management experience
  • Ability to share in a rotating on-call schedule to include weekend hours
  • Strong desire to learn and comprehend our underlying software/systems/technology

Ideally you will also have:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant certifications a plus
  • Ticketing tools/CRM experience
  • VOIP experience helpful
